The pattern numbers were started at E41 to avoid giving the impression that the company was completely new. By the time earthenware production was phased out the pattern numbers had reached 2429. Special order or short run patterns like Puck and Seagull were often not included in this sequence of numbers, while some numbers were not used at all<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Popular patterns like Dresden Spray were given different pattern numbers for each variation. Even taking these factors into consideration, Susie must have put some 1500 plus patterns into production during the period 1930 – 1964.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
